Beskrivning
The result of collaborative efforts from leading experts and researchers in nanotechnology, fisheries, and aquaculture, this two-volume set explores innovative applications of nanotechnology for advancing sustainable aquaculture, improving aquatic animal health, and enhancing production efficiency. This volume builds upon the foundation established in Volume 1: Applications, Interventions, and Environmental Impact and Mitigation to examine advanced nanotechnology applications in fish nutrition, health management, disease diagnosis and treatment, and aquaculture production. Chapters explore nanoparticles for targeted nutrient delivery, sustainable fish feed production, and nanomaterials designed to improve nutrition, feed efficiency, and growth performance. The volume also addresses nanomaterials in fish health and immunology, nano-based diagnostics for early disease detection, nanoparticle delivery systems for vaccines and therapeutic agents, and nanovaccines in aquaculture. Further topics include strengthening immune responses, improving aquaculture productivity under climate change, next-generation nanomaterials for aquatic food packaging, and nanoscale engineering for genetic improvement.
