Dr. Nabeel Ahmad is the Dean of the School of Allied Sciences and a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, India. Dr. Ahmad's areas of research include nanobiotechnology, nanosensors, and bioprocess engineering. His research has been featured in prominent journals such as ACS Nano and the International Journal of Nanomedicine.Dr Gopinath Packirisamy is Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor, in the Department of Biotechnology, at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. His area of research is cancer nanotechnology, biomaterials, tissue engineering, nano-biosensors, and environmental nanotechnology. Dr. Mahesh Narayan is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at El Paso (USA). He earned a B.Sc. in Physics from Bombay University (1991) and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from The Ohio State University (1997). He completed postdoctoral studies at Cornell University (1997–2000) and later served as a Senior Research Associate there (2002–2005). Dr. Narayan has authored and co-authored articles and book chapters in free radical biology, protein structure-function relationships, oxidative folding, protein misfolding, halogen bonding, in silico drug design, the agricultural impact of nanomaterials, and chemical education. His work has been recognized by invitations to speak at over 15 international forums and by coverage in various media outlets. His research focuses on intracellular mechanisms in neurodegenerative disorders, particularly the effects of xenobiotics on amyloid proteins.
