Manashjit Gogoi is a Faculty in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Bombay, an M.Tech. in Bioelectronics from Tezpur University, and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Gauhati University. His research focuses on nanomedicine, biosensors, microfluidics, point-of-care diagnostics, cancer drug delivery, and magnetic nanoparticle-based therapeutics. He has over a decade of academic and research experience. Dr. Gogoi has led and contributed to several externally funded projects supported by DBT, SERB, and ANRF. He has supervised multiple Ph.D. and postgraduate students and has published widely in reputed international journals, along with contributions to edited books and book chapters. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of several professional societies and editorial boards. His work has been recognized through national awards, including MeitY TIDE 2.0 and ABLE-BEST.Sanjukta Patra is a faculty in the Department of Medical Sciences and Technology at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Prior to this she was at Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. She has nearly two decades of academic and research experience. Her research interests include Diagnostics and Therapeutics, Enzyme and Microbial Technologies, Recombinant Biomolecule production for Healthcare applications. Dr. Sanjukta has led and contributed to several externally funded projects supported by DBT, ICMR, MEITY, CSIR, SERB, and ANRF. She also has consultancy projects to her credit. She has contributed and collaborated on several research and development projects, including biosensor development for tuberculosis, candida, malaria, whole cell biosensor for small molecule on various platforms. She has granted patents on technology development, publications in international peer reviewed journals, along with contributions to edited books, book chapters and conference proceedings.
