Over the course of the freezing night their fears, secrets and dreams emerge, collide and combust revealing the desperate frustration of lives barely led but already ravaged. Essex-born Vickie Donoghue'spowerful debut exposes the culture she grew up with and sees on a daily basis. Vickie studied for an MA in Creative Writing at City University, London. She was one of the winners of the 2005 Windsor Fringe Marriot Award for New Writing. She is currently Writer in Residence at If you DareProductions and was one of their writers involved in their recent production Remix (a collaboration between some of London's most exciting new writers, musicians & DJs) performed as part of theBranching Out Festival, London. Mudlarks is her first full-length produced play.
