Keri Wallace is a hillwalker, runner, climber, mountain leader and co-founder of Girls on Hills, the UK's only guided trail running, hill walking and navigation company designed specifically for women. She lives in Glencoe in the heart of the Scottish Highlands with her husband and children and spends her days guiding runs and walks in the Ben Nevis area and juggling being a mum to their two girls. In 2011, she completed the three UK Big Rounds – the Bob Graham, Charlie Ramsay and Paddy Buckley rounds – solo-supported in a single, multi-day push for charity. Initially a neurobiologist, Keri has a PhD in Proprioceptive Plasticity but in 2018 made a career change, setting up her own trail running business in Scotland. As a local, Keri has been hillwalking and mountaineering in the Ben Nevis area through all seasons for over 15 years. Her first book, Running Challenges, was published in 2024.
