Nagendra Singh Chauhan obtained his MPharm and PhD from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. He is currently working as Senior Scientific Officer Grade II and Government Analyst at the Drugs Testing Laboratory Avam Anusandhan Kendra, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He has professional expertise in natural product isolation and phytopharmacology. He has written more than 75 articles in national and international journals and 32 book chapters, and has edited 5 books. He has more than 3000 citations, with an h-index of 42, an i10 index of 38 (Google Scholar) and a Scopus h-index 15 (669 citations).Durgesh Nandini Chauhan, MPharm, has several years of academic (teaching) experience at institutes in India in pharmaceutical sciences and has worked at Columbia College of Pharmacy, Raipur, India. She is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals and a participant at national and international conferences, including BharatiyaVigyan Sammelan and the International Convention of the Society of Pharmacognosy. She joined Ishita Research Organisation, Raipur, India, as a freelance writer and guide for students in pharmacy, Ayurveda and science in their research projects. She is interested in data analysis, proposal writing, questionnaire design and research and policy. She is actively engaged in accurately monitoring, investigating and analysing all statistical information, professionally presenting information and reports and investigating and documenting key data and information at the request of senior researchers.Kamal Shah has more than 18 years of research and teaching experience and is currently working as a Professor at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Research, GLA University, Mathura, India. He completed his BPharm from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, in 2003. He was a gold medallist in BPharm and MPharm from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sagar University, Sagar, India, and obtained his PhD from APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow, India. He has written more than 90 articles in national and international journals and 20 book chapters, and has edited 5 books. His Scopus h-index is 17, with 905 citations.Umesh K. Patil completed his BPharm, MPharm and PhD from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, and post-doctoral studies from the Institute of Biology, Leiden University, the Netherlands. He is currently Professor of Pharmacognosy at Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, and serves as General Secretary to the Indian Society of Pharmacognosy (ISP). He has also served as a board member and Vice President of the International Council for Medicinal Plant Research (ICMAP) and Regional Representative of ICMAP for SAARC countries. His area of specialisation is herbal drug technology and natural products. He has more than 22 years of experience in teaching and research. He is the recipient of seven prestigious awards given in the field of HMPs and remains a BOYSCAST fellow of DST, the Government of India. He is a member of many professional bodies, including the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), the International Society of Ethnopharmacology (ISE), the International Society for Medicinal Plant Research (GA), Germany, the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation, the International Society of Natural Product Development, APTI, IPA, IPGA, ISTE, IASTAM and IAHP. He has published 118 papers in reputable journals and serves on the editorial boards of many journals. Professor Patil has made 28 foreign visits to countries including Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, South Africa, Germany, France, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the USA and Australia for academic and scientific assignments.
