'The organisers are to be congratulated on assembling such a high quality set of lectures. The notes reflect the diligence and rigour with which each lecturer addressed his or her task, and the book can be recommended strongly to anyone now entering the field who wishes to read a comprehensive summary of the main topics of current interest.' Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry 'The book will certainly be very helpful for the research workers in the field of molten salts to familiarize with the fundamental aspects of the broad and difficult field.'
