From the reviews: "This handbook describes a rich variety of practical procedures and methods for diverging imaging technologies. ... This sufficiently detailed handbook is essential for students, research fellows, and established practitioners from different fields to become familiar with molecular imaging and incorporate it into their work. I highly recommend the book to trainees and practitioners in nuclear medicine and radiology with research interest in molecular imaging." (E. Edmund Kim, The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Vol. 53 (1), January, 2012) "The book covers many aspects of molecular imaging at the cellular and subcellular level and within intact living organisms. The techniques are well described and protocols are provided in detail, with a lot of technical specifications, also concerning instrumentation settings and the software used. All this information is of fundamental importance for imaging measurements and is seldom reported in the scientific literature. ... can be recommended to students, research fellows, and technicians working or planning to work with molecular imaging techniques." (Elisa Michelini, Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, Vol. 403, 2012) "Excellently presented, this book on molecular imaging provides valuable information on practical procedures and methods for divergent technologies for imaging of basic molecular and biochemical events in addition to imaging in preclinical and clinical settings. ... The book is intended for students, established practitioners, and research fellows from other fields who want to become familiar with molecular imaging ... . graduate students, practicing radiologists and imaging experts, research fellows, and anyone interested in molecular imaging will find this book valuable."
