"Modes of Governance and Revenue Flows in African Mining is not only timely, but a valuable addition to the field. ... I find the book is a significant asset to the literature on African mining, revenue flows, and issues of development in Africa." (Felix Kumah-Abiwu, African Studies Quarterly, Vol. 16 (1), December, 2015) "This book offers a richly detailed and timely analysis of contemporary debates about mineral governance and revenue flows in Africa. [...] Its incisive analysis of power and institutions in the mining sector make this a highly momentous contribution that will be appealing, interesting and useful for many readers for years to come." - Samuel J. Spiegel, The Extractive Industries and Society
