"...a short, concise book that provides a reference for some of the basic science underlying the clinical phenomena that occurs in rehabilitation practices.... The purpose of the book is to provide a concise but 'advanced' overview of important tools used in rehabilitation, including their background, the science underlying their use, and their applications.... useful for students in rehabilitation professions or junior practitioners who are just starting their careers in the field.... References are plentiful and the index is helpful, [and] to its credit, this book simultaneously provides succinctness and comprehensiveness." ©Doody's Book Review Service, 2025, Elliot J Roth, MD (Shirley Ryan AbilityLab)
