This book is the product of a collaborative effort involving partners from Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America who were funded by the International Development Research Centre Programme on Women and Migration (2006-2011).
Dr Truong is Associate Professor at the International Institute of Social Studies. She co-edits the journal: Gender, Technology and Development. In 2008, she was awarded a Merit Medal by the Government of Vietnam for her participation in 'the development of women in Vietnam'.
