Jon Paul Heyne is an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Dallas and holds a PhD in history from The Catholic University of America. His research interests include pilgrimage, the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land, and inter‑faith interactions across the Mediterranean.Austin Powell holds a PhD in history from The Catholic University of America and has been a postdoctoral scholar and lecturer in the Classics Program at the University of California–Davis. His research explores the interconnections between the mendicant orders, penitent laywomen, mysticism, and textual communities in late medieval Italy.
