Dr Hanif is an Assistant Professor & Group Leader at the Nano and Biomaterials lab within the Department of Chemistry at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. His work focuses on natural products and their analysis using advanced analytical chemistry, and he has published over 120 peer reviewed journal articles, 7 books/manuals and several book chapters. In addition, Dr Hanif has supervised over 40 M.Phil students and 3 PhD students. For outstanding contributions, he has made to the scientific development through the application of basic and applied scientific research particularly in the field of Chemical Sciences (Chemistry), and his unmatched services to community as the benchmark of excellence, the Pakistan Academy of Sciences has awarded him prestigious “Gold Medal in 2019. Dr. Zahid Mushtaq is an Assistant Professor and Group Leader of the Bioactive Molecules Research Lab (BMRL) in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. His expertise lies in molecular biology and drug development studies focused on bioactive compounds, including peptides, proteins, phytochemicals, and enzymes derived from various natural sources such as plants, fungi, bacteria, probiotics, and extremophiles. Dr. Mushtaq has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals and has authored several book chapters. He has also supervised more than 150 master's students and 2 PhD students. Farwa Nadeem has been working in capacity of environmentalist since last five years in international scientific organization. Her main task is to improve and protect the quality of natural environment. She is also working to overcome environmental changes harmful to human beings and other living organisms. She is educating people about green chemistry and environmental friendly chemical processes along with numerous industrial and agricultural activities. Exploration of alternative energy resources is another active field of her through comprehensive research at Department of Chemistry, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad-38040-Pakistan. Dr Nisar is working as a Research Analyst at International Scientific Organization in the Department of Chemistry, University of Agriculture. She has conducted PhD research on medicinal plant and on making chemical derivatives of its bioactive substance. She is the author and coauthor of 40 scholarly articles published in well reputed ISI recognized journals. She has also written chapters for the books published by Elsevier and Springer. Dr. Muhammad Idrees Jilani is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Lahore. He has isolated many bioactive components from various medicinal plants and conducted studies on several medicinal plants in local use. He is the author and coauthor of 50 scholarly articles published in well reputed ISI recognized journals. He has also written chapters for the books published by Elsevier and Springer.Shafiqur Rahman, Ph.D. is Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at South Dakota State University (SDSU) in Brookings, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. Dr. Rahman completed his post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in USA. Prior to joining SDSU, he worked as research scientist and faculty at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, USA and the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Rahman's research focus is drug discovery in neuropharmacology, i.e. the development of novel therapeutic candidates for the treatment of drug addiction and neuropsychiatric disorders. His research and scholarship has resulted in over 125 publications and 11 edited books/book chapters. Dr. Rahman served as editor, editorial board member and reviewer for numerous Scientific Journals and review panels related to drug addiction, neuropharmacology, and drug discovery research. Dr. Rahman is also a member of several professional societies or organizations, including Society for Neuroscience, American Society for Experimental Neurotherapeutics, and American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
