Nils Hoppe is Professor of life sciences regulation at Leibniz Universitaet, Hannover, a director of the Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences. He is also a group leader in the research cluster 'REBIRTH – From Regenerative Biology to Reconstructive Therapy', specialising in technology regulation and bioethics. José Miola is Professor of Medical Law at the School of Law, University of Leicester.
