She holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics (1981) from the Taras Shevchenko State University of Kiev, Ukraine, and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computational Mathematics.Fatih Yilmaz is a full professor in the Department of Mathematics at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Turkey. He obtained his Ph.D. (2013) from Selçuk University (Konya).Deolinda Rasteiro was born in Angola in 1968 but has lived in Portugal since 1974. She graduated in Mathematics from the University of Coimbra (1992), earned a Master’s in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Lisbon (1997), and a Doctorate in Mathematics in the field of Network Optimization (2006) from the University of Aveiro. She is a coordinator professor at ISEC, Portugal.Araceli Queiruga-Dios graduated in Physics (Electronics specialty) from the University of Salamanca (Spain) and obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the same university (2006). Since 2007, she has worked in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the School of Industrial Engineering at the University of Salamanca. Jesús Martín-Vaquero is a professor at the University of Salamanca, Spain. He completed his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics at this University (2002) and received his Ph.D. (2012) from the University Rey Juan Carlos.Ion Mierluș Mazilu is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Informatics at the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest, Romania. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Informatics at Bucharest University and obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the same university (2006).María Anciones-Polo is an associate professor at the University of Salamanca, Spain. She holds a Ph.D. in Statistics (2024) from the University of Salamanca, Spain, and a Master’s degree in Advanced Analysis of Multivariate Data and Big Data.
