Jeremy Farrar is a leading global health expert, serving as the Chief Scientist at the World Health Organization since May 2023. He oversees WHO's science division, uniting experts worldwide to promote evidence-based policies and equitable access to health innovations. Prior to WHO, Farrar was the Director of the Wellcome Trust from 2013 to 2023, where he led major reforms and focused on global challenges such as climate and health, infectious diseases, and mental health, emphasizing diversity and inclusion.
