Bob Pease is a senior lecturer in Social Work at RMIT University in Melbourne. He has been teaching in the area of men and masculinities since 1989. He is the author of Men and Sexual Politics: Towards a Pro-feminist Practice (1997) and of Recreating Men: Postmodern Masculinity Politics (1999). He has been involved in anti-sexist men's politics for over twenty years and is a co-founder of Men Against Sexual Assault in Melbourne.Keith Pringle is professor in comparative social policy and co-director of the International Centre for the Study of Violence and Abuse at the University of Sunderland. He has published widely on men's practices, child welfare and comparative social welfare. His major publications include Men, Masculinities and Social Welfare (1995), Protecting Children in Europe: Towards a New Millennium (1997) (as coeditor) and Children and Social Welfare in Europe (1998).
