Manga is flying off the shelves and is increasingly becoming exceptionally popular amongst students. I can understand why publishers would want to attract students to classic texts through the medium. The art is very attractively done and it follows the original storylines of the books well. The book does not follow the traditional manga reading style (right to left) and has a lot of colour, which may put off students who prefer traditional manga. This book would be well suited to reluctant readers.
