Dr. Hui Liu is a lecturer at School of Government in Central University of Finance and Economics, after she received a Ph.D. in geography and resources management in Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was a visiting research assistant at the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, Yale University. Before that, she earned a master's degree in environmental planning and management and bachelor's degrees in environmental science and economics from Peking University. Her main research interests include water resources management, environmental policies, and sustainable cities. She has been involved as a main researcher in several research projects from the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Foundation of China. She has published over 30 research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Environmental Management and Journal of Environmental Informatics, Ecological Indicators, and Water.
