Nayla Fawzi is Professor of Democracy and Digital Communication in the Department of Communication at University of Mainz, Germany. She leads the research group “Trust from a Media, Politics and Public Perspective.” Her research focuses on political communication, in particular, the chances and challenges of the current media environment for citizens, journalism, and democracy.Jesper Strömbäck is Professor of Journalism and Political Communication in the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication at University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Broadly, his research focuses on political journalism, media use, and media effects on people’s attitudes and beliefs. Among his most recent books is the co-edited Knowledge Resistance in High-Choice Information Environments (2022).Yariv Tsfati is Professor in the Department of Communication at The Herta and Paul Amir Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Haifa, Israel. His research focuses on various facets of public opinion, in particular on trust in media, the third-person effect, and campaign effects.
