Magnetic Triggered Drug Release: A Newer Paradigm of Drug Delivery in Cancer

Dr. Raghvendra A. Bohara, Ph.D., is currently working as an Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at CÚRAM, the Centre for Research in Medical Devices, Government of Ireland. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, D. Y. Patil Education Society, Kolhapur, India. His major research interests include magnetic triggered drug delivery and cancer nanomedicine.He is a recipient of various prestigious fellowships, e.g. from the Government of India, Government of Ireland IRC Fellowship (2017), SERB Travel Grant Young Scientist Awardee,  and an Excellence in Research Award for the year 2016-2017 awarded by the D. Y. Patil Education Society. Recently he was selected as an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK).Dr. Bohara has published various peer-reviewed journal articles, a few book chapters and book, he  has served as a guest editor and reviewer for many other journals. He is also actively involved in teaching courses on stem cells, regenerative medicine and medical biotechnology for undergraduates and graduates.
