Amanda Connolly is an award-winning journalist whose work focuses on Canadian and international politics, most often around issues of foreign policy, national security and defence, and gender equality. She is a dual Canadian-Irish citizen and The Lure of Wolves and Whispers, her debut novel, draws loose inspiration from the legend claiming St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland centuries ago. She resides in Canada's beautiful capital of Ottawa.
