Richard Zelade has devoted a lifetime to the most storied region in Texas. He does not only teach us about the places, personalities, history, and culture that has branded the Hill Country with its timeless allure, he teaches us at the same time to love it. I know of no guide book born of such intelligence, knowledge, heart, and passion.
