Local Cohomology and Its Applications

• The minicourses: local cohomology in equivariant topology; lectures on local cohomology and duality. Other papers: cohomological invariants of coherent sheaves over projective schemes - a survey; a partial survey of local cohomology; p-torsion elements in local cohomology modules II; algorithms for associated primes, Weyl closure, and local cohomology in Macaulay 2; square-free modules and local cohomology modules at monomial ideals; graded Greenlees-May duality and the Cech Hull; residue methods in combinatorial analysis.

"This book presents recent developments and applications of Grothendieck's local cohomology theory. … [It] will be of considerable interest to algebraists and geometers, and also to topologists and specialists working in combinatorics and the theory of D-modules."- EMS Newsletter, Sept. 2003
