Living in the Landscape

A collection of twenty-two houses by award-winning Canadian architecture studio Omar Gandhi Architects. The distinctive houses designed by Canadian architecture studio, Omar Gandhi Architects, over the past fifteen years offer thoughtful responses to the landscape. This collection of twenty-two original and imaginative projects present the approach behind these distinctly 21st-century homes and retreats designed for contemporary living. Following a study of site, and informed by a commitment to natural materials and craftsmanship, the studio’s work connects these dwellings to the hills, neighbourhoods, mountains and rugged coastlines of Canada. With bespoke photography throughout, this is both a detailed monograph and an aspirational guide to the best in contemporary Canadian residential architecture.
