Lucy underwent a spontaneous and frightening shape-shift when aged eleven. She met her Threshold Guardian in New Zealand and then again when she returned to the UK. She then endured a terrifying death-and-rebirth ordeal that almost sent her insane. From that point she was reconstructed as a shaman and taught, among other things, to travel out of the body, taught to speak to spirits, heal the sick, and be a bridge between human and non-human. Lucy was also taught how to create and manipulate thought-forms and how to shift her consciousness into a servitor construct; more commonly known as a 'familiar'.
