Literature and Censorship in Renaissance England

ANDREW HADFIELD is Professor of English at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He has published widely on Renaissance literature and culture. His most recent books are Literature, Travel and Colonial Writing in the English Renaissance, 1545-1652 and The Blackwell Guide to English Renaissance Literature 1500-1620. He is a regular reviewer for the Times Literary Supplement.
