Paola Volpe Cacciatore is Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of Salerno and current President of the International Plutarch Society. The themes of her research concern Plutarch’s Moralia, Greek tragedy, reception of Plutarchean work in the Humanism, revival of tragedy in modern and contemporary age.
