Lichen, Lichen

Lichen, Lichen weaves together drawings and photographs made by the artist in the desert of the western United States. The photographs depict desert landscapes, images of lichen, as well as in one instance, the deadliest snake in North America. The drawings, which are watercolor and indigo pigment on lichen-dyed paper are shown surrounding the photographs. The work revolves around the land.
