"Dr. Nicki has created purposeful, rigorous, yet easy to manage workstations based on the developmental stages of learning in the areas of counting, numbers, place value, fluency, and word problems. Dr. Nicki reminds us how important it is to pay attention to the research-based learning trajectories and level our students accordingly, meeting them where they are in the learning. Research shows that when teachers understand how children develop mathematics understanding, they can provide appropriate activities that will further children's development. This resource empowers teachers to provide students with a much richer and more successful math experience in the primary grades!" — Melanie Harding, K-5 Math Supervisor at the Long Branch Public Schools, NJ
