Michael Reed is Professor of Instructional Technology, both in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at West Virginia University. Reed is the co-author of Educational Computing and Problem Solving; Computer Use in the Improvement of Writing; Multimedia and Megachange: New Directions for Educational Computing; and Hypermedia: Theory, Research, and Practice. Gwen Socol Rosenbluth is an English Teacher and Teacher Education Site Coordinator at Morgantown High School, Morgantown, West Virginia. She has been a Monongalia County Teacher of the Year.

Intended for readers interested in establishing or assessing collaborative reform efforts, the book is organized in three units. The first provides an overview that will enhance readers' understanding of professional development schools and school restructuring. The authors review and highlight important concepts and processes in collaborative restructuring.
