Le Problem of Early Tin

These sixteen papers are taken from the 14th UISPP colloquium held in Liege in 2001 where contributors presented new material and discussion on early tin in Europe and the Mediterranean. The papers are divided into four main sections: Geology and sedimentology; Archaeometallurgy in Europe; Archaeometallurgy on major Mediterranean islands: Cyprus, Sardinia and Sicily; Metrology and metal trade.
