Lady Upstairs

This is a series of intimate reflections on the human spirit. The original intention was a simple reminiscence, but it developed into an exploration of our individual and collective values, of our infinite potential for wonder and wickedness, of love (of course), the creative impulse, spiritual awareness, the US constitution, the loneliness of the long distance survivor, misinterpretation and misunderstanding, politics, Truth and Beauty, language and linguistics, music, the nature of reality, grief, despair and the possible shapes of our possible futures. All this and more from an upstairs downstairs relationship that is deeply private, deeply intimate and here, rightly or wrongly, for all to see.
