Knowing the Holy One

Knowing Who God Is Changes Who You AreThis book is for those who are tired and longing. Tired of learning biblical truths and yet being spiritually dry. Tired of knowing many things about God and yet feeling like they don’t really know him. In short, it’s for those who are weary from a mediocre Christian life and a distant relationship with God and who are longing—longing for a flourishing Christian life based on a deep relationship with God. In Knowing the Holy One, Jay Sklar addresses these very longings. Inviting you into the biblical story, he takes you on a three-stage journey. In the first, you’ll learn the very heart of who God is—why the Bible calls him “the Holy One.” In the second, you’ll see how knowing God deeply leads to practical differences in your Christian life. And in the third, you’ll learn how to connect the dots—how to bury the roots of your life deeply into the soil of God’s holy character so that you can know him deeply and be transformed as a result. If you’re ready to go deeper—deeper in your relationship with God and your Christian growth—Knowing the Holy One will help you get there.  Written by Old Testament Scholar Jay Sklar: A gifted storyteller, Sklar offers a rich, engaging exposition of the Bible’s teaching on God’s holiness Includes an Accessible 10-Week Study: The book includes reflection questions at the end of each chapter and a QR code to 10 teaching videosApplicable: Ideal for teachers, Bible study leaders, and Christians college-age and above who want to know God more deeply and grow spiritually
