Joyful Militancy

In a radical re-framing of traditional conservative takes on 'political correctness', Joyful Militancy tackles 'rigid radicalism', the congealed and toxic practices that suck life and inspiration from the fight for a better world. In dialogue with organisers and theorists, the authors explore how oppression is smuggled into radical spaces via fear, self-righteousness and moralism, and what to do about it - how tenderness and vulnerability can thrive alongside fierce militant commitment.
