Friedemann Sallis is Professor Emeritus at the University of Calgary, Canada. He obtained his PhD in Musicology under the direction of the late Professor Carl Dahlhaus. His publications include numerous books, most recently Live Electronic Music: Composition, Performance, Study (2018) and Music Sketches (2015), as well as numerous articles and book chapters on a variety of twentieth-century topics. He has received fellowship grants from the Paul Sacher Foundation and six research grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.Regina Landwehr is a Senior Archivist and Director of Archival Operations for Archives and Special Collections at the University of Calgary, Canada, where she oversees the acquisition, preservation and access to private and institutional archives relating to Canadian literature, music and performing arts, architecture, military and university history, and the regional history of southern Alberta. She holds a Master's degree in Archival Studies from the University of British Columbia, and is a certified professional appraiser with the National Archival Appraisal Board, Canada. She is the recipient of a Faculty Research Fellowship grant from the Killam Trust to study disaster recovery methods following the Cologne City Archives collapse. With Friedemann Sallis, she received a grant from the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council for activities related to the John P.L. Roberts fonds.
