Thrills, chills and skulduggery abound in this truly splendid, madcap mystery-adventure from a writer at the top of his game. Books as fun and skillfully conceived as this one don't come along too often - buy it, read it, cherish it!-Tom Mead, bestselling author of Death and the ConjurorJekyll & Hyde: Winter Retreat is a clever concept, skilfully executed. A magnificent Gothic murder mystery which reimagines and makes deft use of the relationship between Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. A thrilling and enjoyable read.-Guy Morpuss, author of Five MindsAn irresistible story for anyone who - like me - loves classic gothic stories of mystery and detection. Such an ingenious twist to reimagine Edward Hyde and Henry Jekyll as an investigative duo, backed by the ever-resourceful Muriel. Fast-paced, with intricate plotting and great characters. It all adds up to immense fun.-Marisa Linton, author of Circle of ShadowsPRAISE FOR JEKYLL & HYDE: CONSULTING DETECTIVESA wonderful concept, beautifully executed. Delightful and enthralling in equal measure. Replete with a delicious Victorian atmosphere, as thick as a pea-souper.-Jeremy DysonJekyll & Hyde: Consulting Detectives is a fast-paced gothic thriller that is relentlessly engaging, entertaining, and (most important of all) terrific fun.-Tom MeadHighly enjoyable, terrifically good fun, very well paced, and full of relish for Stevenson's original story.-JS Barnes, author of Dracula's ChildRiveting, ingenious, original. I kinda wish I'd thought of this myself!-Adam Christopher, New York Times bestselling authorTim Major has come up with one of those damn it, I wish I'd thought of that concepts: Henry Jekyll as a dissipated Sherlock Holmes to Edward Hyde's demented Dr Watson. But this splendid novel is more than just a cool idea; it's a rip-roaring, dark-hearted tale that yokes a cunning murder-mystery plot to the Gothic horror of Stevenson's famed novella. The sequel can't come too soon.-James Lovegrove
