'This book is a very useful collection for those interested in the impact of agriculture on water resources, and on the allocation of water resources within the agricultural system. It pulls together most of the important theoretical papers since the early 1980s on the economics of non-point pollution control. The book also shows how interdisciplinary modelling has improved our understanding of water quality and quantity issues, and how better management of water resources generates real economic benefits.
