Introduction to Dynamics

• Basics.- Linear Discrete Models.- Linear Continuous Models.- Methods for Nonlinear Mechanics.- Vibration Phenomena.

“The authors have provided a well-structured and well-balanced text with the material presented in a clear way … . the book will find a firm and prominent place in the advanced mechanical engineering curriculum of a large number of universities.” (H. Hogreve, Mathematical Reviews, August, 2017)“This textbook is aimed at engineering students at a postgraduate level (i.e. masters students) and engineers in practice. ‘Introduction to Dynamics’ gives an intense and self-contained introduction to most aspects of classical mechanics especially from an engineer’s point of view which manifests itself in many quite entertaining and refreshing examples and problems.” (Wolfgang G. Hollik, zbMATH 1364.70003, 2017)
