Internet of Things (IoT)

BK Tripathy is working as a Professor in the higher academic grade in the SITE school of VIT; Vellore. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1983. During his student career, he received 3 gold medals for standing first at graduation level, standing first at postgraduate level, and being adjudged as the best postgraduate of the year from Berhampur University, Odisha. He has the distinction of receiving the national scholarship at PG level, UGC (Govt. of India) fellowship for pursuing his research, DST (Govt. of India) fellowship for pursuing M. Tech. (Computer Science) in Pune University, and the SERC fellowship (DOE, Govt. India) for joining IIT Kharagpur as a visiting fellow. He has published around 800 articles in international journals, proceeding of international conferences of repute, chapters in edited research volumes. Also, he has edited 9 research volumes, written 2 books and 2 monographs. During his career so far he has supervised candidates for 32 PhD degrees, 13 M. Phil degrees and 5 M.S and M. Tech by research degrees. Also, he has guided numerous student projects at their major projects at B. Tech, M. Tech and MCA levels. Dr. Tripathy is a member of more than 30 professional bodies like a senior member of IEEE, a senior member of ACM, a senior member of IRSS, a senior life member of CSI, Indian Academy of Mathematics, IEEE Communication Society, Indian Mathematical Society, ACM Compute News group, Indian Science Congress Association, International Science and Technology group, and IEEE fuzzy logic society. As recognition of his distinguished research in the field of Mathematics, he was included by American Mathematical Society as a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews in 1982 and later honoured with an honorary membership of American Mathematical Society in 1992. In 1983 he was selected as a reviewer for Zentralblutt fur Mathematik (Germany). At present, Dr. Tripathy is a reviewer for over 100 international journals from all top publishing houses world over. He has evaluated the Ph.D. thesis of about 27 universities from all over India. He has been sanctioned with three research projects from central agencies of India like UGC, DST and DRDO. Also, Dr. Tripathy has served at several administrative positions like head of the departments, Program manager of different academic programs, Division leader of research groups and Dean of schoolsJ Anuradha works as a professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering. She has 20+ years of academic experience and 10+ years of research experience. She has guided four Ph.D. scholars and her area of research includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Soft Computing. She has published 32 research articles in prestigious journals and conferences. She has published a book titled “Soft Computing: Advances and applications” and an edited volume.
