Gökçe Bayındır Goularas is Assistant Professor and Chair of the French Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yeditepe University, Turkey. She previously worked as a research assistant for an international think tank in Paris before obtaining her PhD, which focused on the population exchange between Greece and Turkey and the identity question of refugees. She is also Director of the Yeditepe University Research Center of Global Education and Culture (KEKAM), Turkey, and has published a number of papers and articles in Turkey, Europe, and Canada.
