Intelligent Game Engineering

This book provides a novel collection of emerging research from the growing interdisciplinary Intelligent Game Engineering community, which is at the intersection of software engineering, games, and artificial intelligence.AI based approaches are increasingly being proposed to help address the complexity of Game Engineering across many topics, including: game play requirements, architecture and design, testing and verification, content generation, and game play adaptation. This volume considers the interdisciplinary field from broad gaming perspectives: entertainment games, serious games, and gamification, and includes contributions from recognized experts in academia. This book will be of great interest to researchers in the fields of software engineering, games, and artificial intelligence. It may also be used to support upper level undergraduate and graduate level courses focused on advanced topics in game engineering.
