Pietro Elia Campana is Associate Professor at the Future Energy Center, Department of Sustainable Energy Systems, Mälardalen University, Sweden. He is the head of the agrivoltaic research group at Mälardalen University and project leader of the first agrivoltaic systems in Sweden. He holds a PhD in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Mälardalen University. He is associate editor in the Elsevier journal Applied Energy (IF:11.2). His research interests include modelling, simulation, and optimization of agrivoltaic systems and integrated energy systems, machine learning for energy applications, solar irradiance assessment and water-food-energy nexus.Stefano Amaducci is Full Professor of Agronomy and Field Crops at the Department of Sustainable Crop Production, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), Italy. Since 2019 he has been president of CITIMAP Scarl (www.citimap.it), a company that develops remote sensing solutions to support precision agriculture. He leads the field crops research group at UCSC which studies and develops management strategies to increase sustainability of agricultural systems. Research is carried out at the interface of crop ecophysiology, applied agronomy and soil science. Prof. Amaducci has recently developed a modelling platform for the optimization of agrivoltaic systems. He was chairman of the international conference Agrivoltaics2022.
