Dr. Toprak is Professor of Entomology at Ankara University. He has completed his PhD at the University of Saskatchewan, Dept. of Biology, Canada in 2011. Dr. Toprak’s expertise is molecular insect physiology and biochemistry, in particular insect lipid metabolism, calcium homeostasis and defense against pathogens, and development of novel pest control strategies targeting the operation of insect physiological systems and biochemical pathways.  Dr. Musselman is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences and Biochemistry at Binghamton University. She has 20 years of experience studying lipids and lipid metabolism in Drosophila melanogaster.
