Dr. L. Prince Jeya Lal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.E. in Engineering Design, and a Ph.D. from Anna University, and completed post-doctoral research at Arizona State University. His research expertise lies in lightweight materials and structures, with a strong focus on impact, blast, and crash loading. With over a decade of academic and research experience, he has published high-impact journal articles and book chapters and has led funded research and training programs. He is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor, an active reviewer for leading journals, and a Guest Editor for Materials Today Proceedings.Dr. I. A. Palani is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Indore, where he currently serves as Dean (Research and Development). He earned his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and completed post-doctoral research at Kyushu University. His research expertise spans laser-assisted surface processing, micromachining, smart materials, and shape memory alloys. He has authored over 100 international journal publications, filed six Indian patents, and executed funded research projects worth over ₹6 crores with national and international agencies. Dr. Palani has led major academic initiatives at IIT Indore, maintains strong global research collaborations, and actively contributes to professional societies and industry as a technical consultant.Dr. Mandar Shinde is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in computational mechanics, lightweight structures, and energy-absorbing materials, currently working as a Packaging R&D Engineer at Intel, USA. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and holds an M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. His research expertise includes finite element analysis, additive manufacturing, cellular and lattice structures, fracture mechanics, and crashworthiness. Dr. Shinde has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and patents, and brings prior industry experience from Tata Motors and NXP Semiconductors. His work bridges advanced simulation, material characterization, and product-level engineering for high-reliability applications.
