Ruth Maxey is Associate Professor in Modern American Literature at the University of Nottingham. She is the author of South Asian Atlantic Literature, 1970-2010 (2012) and Understanding Bharati Mukherjee (2019).Paul McGarr is Associate Professor in US Foreign Policy at the University of Nottingham and author of The Cold War in South Asia, 1945-1965 (2013). He is currently writing a book on the history of Anglo-American secret intelligence and security interventions in India and Pakistan.
