“Alison Conway and David Alvarez’s collection offers a variety of useful theoretical tools for reconceptualizing religious toleration. The edition is particularly strong in its interconnectedness: essays regularly reference and explicitly interact with the volume’s other essays, giving readers a sense of a broader critical conversation and points of comparison.”
