The first user of Ultra high-Frequency Ultrasound in Europe for lymphatic surgery, he pioneered its use for perforator flaps. Dr Giuseppe Visconti has been granted by the Italian Ministry of Health a research project on Lymphedema Surgery in 2017, has produced more than 25 publications dedicated to lymphedema surgery on international peer reviewed Journals, 3 chapters on lymphedema surgery for International Books and is Co-Editor of the first book entirely dedicated to Supermicrosurgical LVA, published in 2020. Co-Founder of the Ultrasound in Reconstructive Microsurgery Yearly Meeting since 2019, he is regularly invited in National and International Meetings for Lymphedema Surgery.
