Stuart Miller was a lecturer at University of Sunderland in History before becoming Head of Community/Continuing Education and Head of BA (Combined Studies) Part-Time degree. H worked at the University of Northumbria as project manager and from 2001 with the Workers’ Educational Association as project manager, course organizer (Tyneside) and tutor. In addition he is much involved in regional heritage groups in the North East both as volunteer and chairman, often working with local regeneration teams. He also organises and runs regional heritage fairs, conferences and other events in the region.
