Rabbi Mychal Copeland is both a rabbi and a certified yoga instructor who fuses Jewish spirituality with movement. While working toward her ordination by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Copeland was the Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinic Intern at Congregation Beth Simchat Torah in New York City, the largest Jewish LGBTQ community in the world. She is a co-founder of Rosh Hodesh: It’s a Girl Thing!, a Rosh Hodesh program for teen girls. Her yoga book, I Am the Tree of Life: My Jewish Yoga Book, was a Sydney Taylor Book Award Honor winner. She lives in San Francisco. Andre Ceolin began teaching himself to draw at the age of four, when his father brought home reams of paper from work. He studied at School of Visual Arts in NYC, Melies, and Escola Panamericana de Artes to develop a signature look and learned new illustration techniques. He has illustrated more than twenty picture books, including I Am the Tree of Life and Yom Kippur Shortstop. He resides in Brazil.
